About Mary Ann Reynolds FRICS CIPD
Mary Ann brings over 30 years of experience to her role at Coburn Consulting. She holds dual qualifications in Real Estate (RICS) and people development (CIPD). Within RICS she has achieved the highest status of a Fellow – the only female Fellow in Switzerland. The RICS is the world’s foremost qualification for the Real Estate, Construction and FM sectors and the CIPD is the qualification held by HR and people development professionals in the UK. This rare combination of Real Estate and people development means she can offer a variety of services to support the development of people and their skills within these sectors.
After her degree in Land Management at the University of Reading, her career started with Savills in the UK where she rose over the years from graduate trainee to a Director and Head of Training. Mary Ann moved to Switzerland in 2001 and now offers bespoke training solutions to a range of companies, universities, and other professional bodies both from within the real estate industry and beyond. She personally oversees the design of all courses and ensures the quality of the work undertaken by Coburn Consulting is of the highest standard. The consultancy has a truly global client list and is equally happy working for small start-ups through to the biggest global enterprises.
Mary Ann has been closely involved in the work of RICS both in Europe and worldwide. She set up and ran for 18 years the RICS operation in Switzerland. Over the years she has undertaken a number of other consultancy tasks for RICS in Europe particularly with regard to the professional qualification process. She has been a Licensed Assessor Trainer and Chairman of the committee overseeing education and standards for RICS in Europe.
